Transcript Evaluation
Official transcripts are evaluated by Illinois Central College for the purpose of receiving a degree or certificate from Illinois Central College.
To have coursework earned at another college or university applied to your record at ICC, you must have an official transcript from each college or university attended sent to ICC.
When ICC receives an official transcript(s), a Request for Evaluation of College Transcript form will be mailed to the current address in your eServices account.
Please return this completed form within 10 days to begin the transcript evaluation process. Remember that you must indicate the degree or certificate that you intend to complete at ICC. Keep in mind that only your credits may transfer, but individual grades will not be factored into your ICC cumulative grade point average.
During the evaluation process, ICC may contact you to provide a course description if the course:
- was completed prior to 1994;
- was completed at an out-of-state institution; or
- is considered “upper-level” (e.g., Junior or Senior level)
Upon completion of your transcript evaluation you’ll receive a transcript evaluation summary in the mail.
