Mathematics Advisement
The following flowchart displays recommended paths to satisfy program and general education requirements at Illinois Central College. ICC requires six hours of mathematics at the MATH 110 level or above for the AAS transfer degree. Three of those six hours must be IAI (Illinois Articulation Initiative) approved.
The Math Placement Exam (MPE) is recommended for placement in the math curriculum; it is required for MAT 108, MATH 115, MATH 165, and MATH 222, shaded in the flowchart. "MAT" prefix indicates non-transfer courses.
