Free Tutoring Labs

Whether your student is a straight "A" student or a student who struggles, our tutoring labs are here to help students be the best students they can be. We have four tutoring labs staffed by professional tutors to provide students with academic support. Tutors in our Writing Lab help students identify their grammar errors and discuss paper organization. Our Reading/Study Skills Lab gives students suggestions for effective note taking, textbook reading, and time management. Tutors in our Mathematics Lab help students crunch tricky equations. Our HELP Lab provides drop-in tutoring times with a variety of tough classes.
Transfer Center

For students who plan to transfer to a four-year college, the Transfer Center will work with your student to make sure the classes they are taking at ICC will be accepted by the four-year school of your choice. The Transfer Center also sponsors trips each semester to several four-year colleges in Illinois—and beyond—so your student can visit other college campuses in person.

QUEST Program

(Quality Undergraduate Education for Student Transfer). QUEST is a program just for transfer students. The program helps students make a smooth transition from high school to ICC and on to the four-year college or university of their choice. Your student can join the program and take enriched general education classes and receive one-on-one transfer advising. As a bonus, your student also can be a part of the QUEST group, which sponsors social events, seminars, trips, and other activities.
New World Program

If your student will be the first person in the family to attend college, we have a program that can provide extra support. New World staff help work with students to develop good habits and skills for college. They also offer a lap-top computer loan program to qualified students.

Student apartments are available at the ICC East Peoria Campus. Beautiful two- and four-bedroom apartments are available. The apartments come equipped with high-speed internet and expanded cable. Apartment residents can enjoy a comfortable club house, take a dip in the pool, or relax by the barbeque pavilion.
