Services to assist faculty in the development of instructional materials.
The instructional graphic designer can create, design and produce a wide variety of instructional materials for faculty to use in their courses.
Using experience in fine arts, graphic design, web design and multimedia, an expansive range of traditional and digital methods are used to produce high quality graphics for any type of media.
A few common services offered:
- Traditional (hand-drawn) or Digital Illustration
- Graphics, Illustrations and Animations
- Scanning, Cleaning, and Editing Images
- Presentation/ PowerPoint Design
- Online Course/ Web Site Design
- Online Quizzes or Games for instruction
- Technical assistance with integrating multimedia into Blackboard
- Audio/video production for Blackboard
- Podcasting and creation of audio
- Online modules and demonstrations
- Large-Scale Design and Printing
- Laminating, Mounting Posters

- Access for faculty to equipment for production of instructional materials.
- Do it yourself, get assistance or have it created for you.
- Laminate, Heat (Dry) Mount, Trim, Edit Video, or Create Graphics.

Website Design Samples
Faculty may have a whole website designed to fit their needs or just have an individual page designed. It may be a stand alone website or a webpage designed specifically to fit into Blackboard.
Illustration & Graphic Samples
Faculty may request to have images scanned and prepared for a PowerPoint Presentation. Faculty may also request to have an original illustration created for print or the screen.
Animation & Interactive Graphics Samples
Faculty may request to have simple animations, games or interactive web pages/ tutorials created to supplement their course.
PowerPoint/Presentation Design Samples
Faculty may request to have an entire presentation created based on notes, or may request to have help with design and images of a presentation. Faculty may request to have a custom template designed.
