PROJECT ME will continue the work that ICC’s Marketing Department and the AAWCC (American Association of Women at Community Colleges) have initiated.  Through the “It’s Your Turn” campaign, ICC is attracting more non-traditional females to our college.  Once non-traditional female students enroll and make a commitment to their education, they need additional support services as they work to reach their goals---both in and outside of the classroom.   PROJECT ME will serve as a cohort group of non-traditional students that will be introduced to and surrounded by the support services they need---to succeed at ICC.

Elizabeth’s project is to design a comprehensive “bridge program” for at-risk ICC students who have already been, or are likely to be, unsuccessful in our courses--ranging from incoming recent high school graduates to returning non-traditional students.  The highly integrated program will include not only foundational coursework but also support services that will continue through the students' time at ICC.
