Physical Therapist Assistant
Criteria for Admission
| 1 | Graduation from high school or equivalent |
| 2 | Placement test scores into ENGL 110 and READ 115 |
| 3 | An ACT composite score of 18 or above (tested prior to October 28, 1989) or 20 or above (tested October 28, 1989 or later) |
| 4 | One year of high school chemistry or CHEM 115 with a minimum grade of "C" and one year of high school mathematics |
| 5 | At least a "C" in program required courses taken at other colleges, for those transferring |
| 6 | In the case of students not initially admissible to the program: (a) completion of math and science courses if not taken in high school; (b) at least a "C" average in 18 or more credit hours taken at ICC, including a course in reading and study skills |
| 7 | A total of 20 hours of documented observation in at least 2 different physical therapy practice settings |
| 8 | A physical examination is required upon admission to the program |
