Getting Started
The process for applying for a Health Career Program is as follows:
Eligibility
In order to submit an application packet, the student must determine that they have met all the eligibility requirements for admission to the desired program(s). The eligibility requirements are available under each specific Health Career Program as Criteria for Admission.
Attend an information Session
These sessions help you complete the application process and succeed in the selection process for a Helath Careers Program. These informational sessions are held in Rm 109, Health Careers Department, Thomas Building, 201 SW Adams St., Peoria, twice a month; the second Thursday of the month at 7:00pm and the fourth Thursday of the month at 10:00am (except holidays or when the college is closed)..
Obtain an Application Packet
Bound in a white ICC Health Careers envelope, they contain: 1. ICC Application 2. Instruction Sheet 3. Transcript Evaluation Form 4. Work/Volunteer Form. These packets are available at any of the Student Service Centers at any of the three ICC campuses: East Peoria, Downtown Peoria (both the Perley and Thomas Building), and ICC-North. The packet materials can also be downloaded.
It is your responsibility to insure that all required documents are complete and submitted in your application packet by the application deadline. Each document must have your name, student ID number and/or social security number, and program(s) for which you are applying. Please retain a copy of all your submitted documents as we are unable to provide you with copies.
Application packet deadline for FALL programs is January 15. SPRING Deadline (for Therapeutic Massage and Phlebotomy only) is Oct 1.
