Imagine the possibilities available to you as you pursue your career path in your selected Health Career. Our department offers 17 Health Careers Programs. Some of the courses of study lead to the Associate in Applied Science degree while others lead to a Certificate of completion. Devoted, dedicated and disciplined are characteristics of good health professionals. Because of this, the entrance criteria and courses of study can be very exacting and demanding.
Each of us on the Health Careers staff is eager to help you make your career decisions according to your abilities and goals, develop your class schedule, encourage you, and reassure you that a wise decision toward a fulfilling career was made.

Continuing Health Education
A "hybrid course," combining internet study with learning opportunities in the ICC Health Skills Lab and at an Illinois hospital facility is available for both LPNs and RNs, who are licensed to practice in Illinois. The Nurse Refresher Course is specifically designed for nurses who have maintained an active Illinois Nursing License, but have been out of practice for a while and wish to refresh their knowledge base. The goal is to allow nurses to update theoretical knowledge and clinical skills so that they may comfortably move into the current nursing workforce. Please click above and/or call 690-6909 for more information.
