CENTRAL ILLINOIS GREEN EXPO AT ICC SEPT 9-10

The 2nd Annual Central Illinois Green Expo will be held at Illinois Central College on Friday and Saturday, September 9th and 10th, 9 am - 4 pm. The Green Expo will bring together individuals, families, professionals, and business and community leaders to explore critical issues that impact the sustainability of our region. Businesses and organizations will showcase programs and products that can contribute to a thriving green economy. The public can take time to enjoy the exhibition tents, presentations by leaders and educators, great how-to workshops, fun activities for kids, and local food. The family-friendly event includes free admission and parking.

Attendees will see the most recent developments in energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable living and learn how to leverage these developments to build sustainable communities.

Partners in the Central Illinois Green Expo include Illinois Central College, Peoria Park District, Lakeview Museum, Tri-County Construction Labor-Management Council, and the Sun Foundation.

Local businesses and organizations interested in more information on exhibitor opportunities may obtain forms online at www.cigreenexpo.org. Exhibitor registration is due August 19.
