Training in building system and envelope analysis and whole building energy efficiency evaluation for residential buildings. Registration fees for the written and field exams are included in the course fee. Scholarships may be available.

Building Operator Certification™
Training in energy management and evaluation of building system efficiency for commercial buildings.

Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program Contractor Certification
Training in basic building science and weatherization protocols for contractors. This training is required for contractor's that will perform work for the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program.

LEED® Green Associate
Training and exam preparation for the Green Building Certification Institute's LEED Green Associate credential examination. Registration fees for the exam are included in the course fee. Scholarships may be available.

LEED® Accredited Professional*
Training and exam preparation for the Green Building Certification Institute's LEED Accredited Professional specialty credentials (Building, Design & Construction and Operations & Maintenance). *See GBCI website for exam eligibility requirements.

Degree Programs

Architecture
2 year Associates in Arts & Science with core courses addressing green building and sustainable design considerations and elective course offerings focusing on specific areas of green building design and construction. Courses may transfer to 4 year or other professional programs.

Architectural Construction Technology
2 year Associates in Applied Science with core courses addressing green building and sustainable construction considerations and elective course offerings focusing on specific areas of green building design and construction. Courses may transfer to 4 year or other professional programs. Scholarships may be available.

Green Building Environment
Certificate Program or 2 year Associates in Applied Science with core courses addressing systems and strategies for designing and maintaining healthy and productive indoor environments and the critical role of an integrated design team. Associates Degree elective course offerings focusing on specific areas of green building design and construction. Scholarships may be available.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Certificate Program or 2 year Associates in Applied Science with core courses addressing the selection, installation and analysis of environmental control systems. Associates Degree elective course offerings focusing on specific areas of indoor environmental quality and green building design and construction. Courses may transfer to 4 year or other professional programs. Scholarships may be available.
