Getting Started

High School Senior

  1. Complete an ICC Application
    You can attain an ICC Application either at your high school guidance office or fill out the ICC Online Application, or download and print the application.
  2. Request that a high school transcript be sent to ICC's Admissions Office
    Transcripts are sent to ICC by your high school. Contact your high school guidance office to complete the process.
  3. Take the Placement Tests required for reading, writing, and math
    Placement tests are offered at your high school in March or April or by contacting the ICC Testing Center at (309) 694-5234.
  4. Make appointment with an ICC Academic Advisor
    If you are undecided about your college major, call the Counseling Office at (309) 694-5281 to make an appointment. If you know what you want to choose for a major, contact your Academic Advisor directly.
  5. Register for classes
    After you meet with your academic advisor, you can register at the Student Service Center, or you can register online through eServices.
  6. Consider applying for Financial Assistance
    To apply for financial assistance, you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. To find out more information about how to submit this form, please visit the ICC Financial Aid web site.
  7. Consider applying for an ICC Scholarship
    Each year, ICC gives out over 300 scholarships to ICC students. All full-time and part-time students are encouraged to apply. To find out more information and to fill out the online scholarship application, please visit the ICC Scholarships web site.
  8. Pay your tuition by the due date
