There are two ways you can earn college credit while you are still in high school. One is to sign up for an ICC class at one of the ICC campuses using the steps below. The other option is to take a Dual Credit class offered through your high school. To learn more about Dual Credit options, please contact your high school guidance counselor. The minimum age to enroll part-time at ICC is 16, and the minimum age to enroll full-time is 17. Some exceptions can be made to this policy for special circumstances. Please contact the Admissions Deparment at (309) 694-5353 if you have questions.

1 Complete an ICC Application
You can attain an ICC Application either at your high school guidance office or fill out the Online Application, or download and print the application.
[  ]

2 Take the Placement Tests required for reading, writing, and math
Placement tests are offered at your high school in March or April or by contacting the ICC Testing Center at (309) 694-5234.

3 Register for classes
You can register in person at any of the three of the ICC campuses (East Peoria, Downtown, or ICC North). You will need to turn in the signed Permission Letter at the time you register for classes.
