Testing options for your student SAT and ACT prep classes Obtain schedules and forms for the SAT I SAT II, ACT and AP exams (check with your high school counselor)
Ask for a preview of your student’s academic record and profile – determine gaps or deficiencies
If your student is an athlete interested in competing at the college level, check with high school coaches for NCAA eligibility requirements
Consider summer dates for job shadowing in different career fields
Read and respond to college mail
Compile everything in the portfolio so far and have your student pull together a resume
