The mission of Career Services is to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art resources and services to the ICC college district by assisting in career exploration, career development, and job placement.
Career Services staff members are happy to work with high school counselors and teachers to provide career exploration workshops in the classroom or provide websites for internet research. Workshops can be customized by grade level and to suit the needs of the students.
During an ICC career workshop, students begin the process of exploring their abilities, interests, and work values. Students learn the WHY, WHEN, WHO, and HOW of making a career choice. To set up a workshop, please call Career Services at (309) 694-5153. For high school students, junior level and above, ICC counselors are happy to provide follow-up career counseling to assist in choosing a major. To make an appointment with a counselor, please call (309) 694-5281.
The David Leitch Career Center site features more information about the career resources available to ICC students and the community.
