Where are the classes offered?
The classes are taken during regular school hours on site at the student's high school.

Who teaches the classes?
Dual credit classes are taught by approved instructors who have college credentials.

How are the classes configured?
The classes follow a college syllabus and use required college textbooks. An individual student receives a final grade for each class. This grade is shown on the student's college transcript and cannot be removed. All students enrolled in dual credit classes must follow the procedures of the college for application, placement testing, registration, and enrollment.

How does my school get involved?
Typically high school principals determine whether their schools will participate in Illinois Central College dual credit. Interested instructors or guidance counselors should discuss the dual credit option with their high school principal. Principals, guidance counselors, and instructors can receive more information by contacting the Dual Credit Coordinator at ICC.
