CRJ 227 – Administration of Justice uses hypothetical situations to examine criminal procedure including arrest, search and seizure and the rights of the accused.
CRJ 226 – Is a non-traditional class where students complete assignment and schedule a conference with the instructor or communicate via e-mail over the Internet. Students work at their own pace, and must be self-directed to complete the course without formal class meetings.
CRJ 250 – Uses a simulation of a metropolitan police department where students assume the roles of command officers and supervisors to administer the police department. Students complete eight writing assignments, including a position description, pursuit policy, budget work schedule, employment standards and proposal paper.
