Teaching Style
My classes are project-oriented and emphasize visual literacy, practical job skills and technology. Students are encouraged to develop creativity and methodology for solving design problems in a pleasant professional environment. Through lecture and demonstration I teach increasingly challenging computer techniques. Through community projects students learn about the design industry outside the school environment. I teach a balance of hand illustration, computer illustration and multimedia. I believe that learning should be fun and exciting.
Projects / Hobbies
I continue pursuing the integration of student work into community service projects. My personal art includes drawing and painting.
