This 2007 King Holiday observance will mark the 21st year of the national holiday and the 78th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Monday, January 15, 2007 DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. FREEDOM MARCH: Assemble: 1:30 pm Depart: 2:00 pm. Marchers will travel from the Romeo B. Garrett Cultural Center at Bradley University, 824 Duryea Place, to St. Paul Baptist Church, 603 W. Nebraska, Peoria. A MLK Commemorative Service and Awards Ceremony will follow.

The keynote speaker will be Glen Fauntleroy, Department Manager, Caterpillar, Inc. Mr. Fauntleroy oversees three divisions and has held numerous leadership positions at Caterpillar. He and his managers support Cat Dealers in Rental and Used Equipment Retail Sales. MLK Leadership Awards will be presented following keynote address.
