The Diversity Department is responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating students support services and activities designed to assist minority students’ personal and academic achievement. The department works with other departments of the college to enhance the environment in which minority students live and learn. This includes developing and implementing outreach and retention programs, responding to day-to-day issues and concerns that arise with students, and sponsoring educational support and leadership development programs.
