Harvesting Dreams, Too
Harvesting Dreams, Too is the sister program to Harvesting Dreams, which origniated as a program to empower African American males to succeed in the community college environment at Illinois Central College.
Harvesting Dreams, Too promotes self awareness, self esteem and self propulsion. The program uses activities, speakers and workshops to assist participants with their success in college survival and academic success.
As with Harvsting Dreams, this program explores issues and challenges that African American females experience and assists with strategy development to ease the transition into and through each participant's college experience at Illinois Central College.
Meeting Times
Harvesting Dreams Too meets every Tuesday, 12 noon - 1 pm in the East Peoria Campus, Career Center Room CC102 to discuss issues and challenges facing African American Females.
