The Technology Services Help Desk is the central location for questions regarding computer problems. Whether you are a student needing a password reset, a staff member with a computer problem, or a faculty member requiring help with a PeopleSoft question the Help Desk staff can guide you through a solution. Requests for password changes require proper authentication from the requestor, email requests for password changes cannot be honored. If the problem is outside the scope of the Help Desk, they will direct you or contact the proper resources for resolution of your problem.

BlackBoard
Many Blackboard questions can be answered by the Help Desk staff. Faculty seeking training in Blackboard are asked to call the Teaching and Learning Center, (309) 694-5295.
Home Computer Problems
Help Desk staff are not allowed to work on student computers, install software or provide instructions to users on how to fix computer probelms. They may only recommend possible software solutions that may resolve a problem, but it is ultimately the users decision whether to try the solution.
