Congratulations! You are invited to participate in the upcoming Commencement Ceremony held in May. (Please keep in mind that participating in commencement does not automatically assure you of earning a degree
or certificate. The actual issuance of diplomas is determined by the Graduation Office after final grades are tabulated.)

Should you choose to participate in the commencement ceremony YOU MUST:
Use your legal name
The name that appears on your diploma must be the same name that appears on your transcripts, grade reports, schedules, etc. – it must be your legal name. If a correction needs to be made, contact the Student Service Center, Room L211, by April 1, 2008.
Attend the Grad Finale
April 28 & 29, 2008, 9 am-noon & 4 pm-6 pm, BookBuy Back Windows, East Peoria Campus. This is where you must purchase and pick up your cap and gown. You will also obtain specific instructions for the commencement day celebration. Purchase price of your cap and gown is $15.
Graduation announcements are available for purchase in the ICC Bookstore. You may use these to invite family and close friends to the ceremony.
You are encouraged to participate in commencement, but participation is optional and in no way affects the awarding of a diploma. Diplomas are mailed approximately 4-6 weeks after final grades have been tabulated and degrees/certificates verified.
