Child Care Connection offers training, technical assistance and consultations throughout a nine county area open to all early childhood providers, teachers and interested individuals and groups. Our training programs are designed to meet the needs of both new and experienced child care teachers and providers. Training is offered in a variety of formats including full and half day conferences, workshop series, single workshops, seminars and on-site consultations.
Professional Development Scholarships and Quality Counts Enhancement Grants are offered through the Child Care Connection. Scholarships are available to individuals seeking training and college coursework. In addition, individuals and programs may request funds for assistance in renewing or seeking accreditation. Quality Counts grants are available to assist programs in purchasing equipment and materials designed to enhance quality of care.
Child Care Connection provides support to individuals and programs participating in other professional development endeavors including but not limited to: Credentialing, Accreditation, Great START, Gateways to Opportunity Scholarship, Quality Rating System and Classroom and Program Assessment Systems.
