Child Care Connection can help families in their search for child care.
Child Care Connection maintains a database of over 600 child care providers in our nine county area. This voluntary registry includes licensed and license-exempt family homes, centers, preschools and before/after school programs.
Un-biased referrals to providers are done by computer selections that match the needs of parents. Child Care Connection is not a monitoring agency and does not endorse or recommend one provider over another. A listing with Child Care Connection is not a guarantee of quality. Referral services are free to those families that meet income eligibility guidelines. Sliding scale fees are for one year of service for families and range from $10 to $30 depending on family size and income. Referral lists are available by email or mail. You may always pick up referrals at our office if you prefer.
During the intake conversation, the Child Care Advisor can help answer questions concerning quality of care, average costs for care and help develop an action plan for finding the type of child care that best meets a families needs. Information gathered for each family during the intake process is kept on file and remains confidential.
