Program Information:
The Geospatial Technologies certificate program of study is designed to help prepare the student for employment in a field which utilizes geospatial technologies or enhances the skills of individuals currently employed in a field utilizing geospatial technology. Geospatial technolgies refers to any of the geospatial (geographic) information technolgies. These include geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), and remote sensing. These technologies allow for the mapping and analysis of information for various activities and at various scales.
