Certificate (Certificate Program) - 32 Credit Hours
The mission of the Accounting Technician Certificate program is to prepare students with office experience the skills necessary for employment in accounting or an accounting related field. The Technician program provides education in accounting for personal income taxes and managerial decision-making using accounting information, in addition to basic accounting and payroll accounting. The Technician program prepares students for possible employment as a bookkeeper, payroll clerk, or similar positions in other areas of accounting, with manufacturers, the service industry, accounting firms, financial institutions, insurance companies, and not-for-profit and governmental organizations.
