Associate in Applied Science (Career Program) - 67 Credit Hours

Program Information/Mission:

The mission of the Automotive Technology Associate in Applied Science degree program is to prepare students for employment as an entry-level technicians to be  employed by automobile dealers, independent repair shops, mass merchandisers, auto manufacturers, part and component distributors, and other service oriented businesses.   In this NATEF certified program, students are trained to perform a full range of automotive technical functions including diagnosis of mechanical and electrical problems, repair, and maintenance.

Program Accreditation:
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified program

Admission to the Program:
Students entering the program should have mechanical aptitude and be interested in mechanical work. Students must provide their own tools for use throughout the course of study.
