Program Information:
The Business Administration course of study is for students intending to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a bachelor´s degree in business-oriented fields such as general management, marketing, advertising, finance and production management. Students have obtained successful business careers with firms such as Caterpillar Inc., General Electric, Proctor and Gamble and IBM. Illinois Central College has special articulation agreements with many four-year institutions insuring transfer of course work. PLEASE CONTACT AN ACADEMIC ADVISOR REGARDING THESE AGREEMENTS. Specialty courses in the student´s major are usually taken at the transfer institution during the junior and senior years.
Admission to the Program: Recommended high school courses: Data Processing, Business Law, Accounting, Bookkeeping, General Business and four years of Mathematics
