Program Information:

The Caterpillar Engine Technology Training program is a 24-week technician-training program designed to prepare students to become engine repair technicians for Caterpillar, Inc.  In this program, the student will learn how to work on many types of Caterpillar Engines, including: 3406, C13 and C15.

 

The program combines classroom work in state-of-the-art labs with real world on the job experience. In class, you will learn about engine fundamentals, Caterpillar fuel systems, electrical systems, and more. The 24-week program is divided into three 8-week sessions. The student will be in class 4 hours a day and working in a Caterpillar facility 4 hours a day.

Admission to the Program:
In order to be eligible for this program, the student must be a Caterpillar employee and be selected by an engine facility supervisor. An application will then be filled out along with testing to be done at the testing center.
