Phi Theta Kappa raises funds for scholarships and charity.

The funds we raise for scholarships go towards the Kenneth L. Edwards scholarship and the Alumni Transfer scholarship. The application deadlines for both are April 1. To find out more information, contact the PTK office.

As part of our service hallmark, we work hard at raising funds for charities. We have participated in a BowlAThon for the St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. We have also coordinated a fundraising drive for the Women’s Strength program in Peoria, a shelter for battered women.

Our fund raising activities include the following:
· Popcorn sales on the ICC campus
· Train Fairs (selling concessions)
· Horticulture Fair (selling concessions)
· Bake Sales
· Penny Drives

These are just a few of our fundraising activities.

Our fundraising helps our local chapter ensure that scholarships will be available to our members. It also helps our membership contribute to the community.
