Change Your Information

You may change or add your personal information to Blackboard, including your name, E-mail address, and password. The only things about your personal information you cannot change are your Login ID/Username and Student ID number.

Personal Information and E-mail Address
The E-mail address listed in your Blackboard account is the address that will be used to send Email to you through Blackboard. The default address in Blackboard is your ICC Student E-mail account. If you do not check this E-mail account you MUST change your E-mail address in Blackboard. DO NOT miss important course messages!

Login to Blackboard
Go to the Blackboard @ ICC page
Find the Tools menu on the left side of the page, click on the Personal Information link
Click Edit Personal Information
Enter or modify any information you wish to be visible to other Blackboard users
Click Submit, then OK twice

Modifying the Contents and Layout
Individual users may alter the content and layout of the Blackboard @ ICC page. Only My Announcements and My Courses must display on the page. You can change the location and appearance of the contents under Layout.

Contents:

Click on the Contents button in the upper right corner of the Blackboard @ ICC page
Check the boxes next to the modules that should appear, and uncheck those to be removed
Click Submit, and then click OK

Layout:

Click on the Layout button in the upper right corner of the Blackboard @ ICC page
Under Personalize Page Layout, click on the module you would like to move
Use the arrow buttons to change horizontal and vertical layout in which the modules are displayed
Under Personalize Theme, choose the radio button next to the color scheme you prefer
Click Submit, and then click OK
