Program Information:
This program is designed to prepare students for employment in information and computer centers that are using the UNIX/Linux OS. The students will gain a working knowledge of using the OS to create, maintain, and customize stand-alone, intranet, and Internet operations. To this end, the curriculum provides coursework in administration, security, scripting, and interoperability. A wide range of electives will enable the student to hone their interests, and the optional internship will provide the student with "real-world" experience.
