Emily Points

Emily Points, Head Coach

Head Coach Emily Points is in her ninth year as head coach at Illinois Central College with a career record of 98-48-6. Prior to coaching at ICC, Points was the assistant varsity soccer coach at Metamora High School for three years and coached freshman/sophomore boy’s soccer for one year. She also coached freshman girl’s basketball for two years at Metamora. Points played at ICC in 1998 and 1999. She graduated from United States Sports Academy with her master’s degree in Sports Science in 2011 and from Illinois State University in 2002 with her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. She is married to Brian and they have one daughter Addison.

Sarah Hewitt

Sarah Hewitt, Associate Coach

Associate Coach Sarah Hewitt is in her third year at ICC. She was a former player at Morton High School and Illinois Central College where she played defense. She is a Reading Recovery and Title I Reading teacher in El Paso/Gridley and has her master’s degree in Reading from Illinois State University.

Molly Suellentrop

Molly Suellentrop, Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach Molly Suellentrop is in her first year at ICC. She is a former ICC cougar and graduate of Limestone High School. She earned her bachelors from Western Illinois University in Recreational therapy and now going back to school to be an Occupational Therapist. She is married to Matt.

Jess Freeman

Jess Freeman, Assistant Coach

Volunteer Coach Jess Freeman is in his fifth year at ICC and he has been coaching soccer for the past 15 years. He coached at St.Vincent de Paul Peoria Notre Dame and Sporting Futbol Club. At the grade school level, he’s coached every grade level, 3rd through 8th. At Notre Dame he was the Junior Varsity coach and an assistant on the varsity for both men’s and women’s teams. Jess served as was assistant on the ’87 Sporting Futbol Club Lady Rampage and coached the ’92 and ’93 girl’s teams. He coached at SFC for seven years. He also has a class “D” license, obtained in 2002. He is married to Jackie and they have three daughters, Jessica, Jennifer, and Jodi.
