After Humphrey bunted himself aboard, he advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on a line drive by Steven Lohmeier.
That salvaged a split with the Pride, who pounded out a 15-10 victory in Game 1.
“That’s about the 15th time this season we’ve out-hit our opponent and lost,” said ICC (12-35, 11-18) coach Brett Kelley, whose group had 18 hits to Springfield’s 12.
