"We were up by as many as 20 in the second half, but (Cobras coach) Sergio (McClain) is used to running the ‘Manual press,' " Cougars (22-8, 12-4) coach Tony Wysinger said of the former Peoria prep star who's now on the bench for the Parkland. "When we could get by it, we scored. But if we didn't we ended up with turnovers and free throws.
"They cut it as close as eight."
Marious Lobdell had 16 points for ICC, which had 23 turnovers.
