AthleticsNews[print] [athletics home] [sports news home] ICC men dish out win over SpoonCougars improve to 11-0 at home with 116-63 win; Washington grad scores 20
January 31, 2009 "We just jumped out on them," ICC assistant coach Tim Sack said. The teams had met just 13 days ago as the Cougars got a 24-point win. ICC, who extended its win streak to seven, improved to 11-0 at home and wraps up a five-game homestand on Wednesday against John Wood. The Mudcats (1-19, 0-8), losers of 10 in a row, trailed ICC at halftime 62-36. Heinold, a Washington High grad, led four scorers in double figures. With Lincoln Land losing to Parkland 70-67 on Saturday, ICC (17-6, 7-2) now sits in sole possession of second place in the Mid-West Athletic conference. ICC on Feb. 11 gets a shot to avenge a 12-point loss to league-leader Lincoln at home. |
