OGLESBY — Illinois Central College rallied from a one-point deficit with just over two minutes left to play Tuesday to defeat IVCC 75-66.

The Cougars trailed 63-62 with 2:04 left before closing out the game on a 13-3 push.

Jim Kuban led seventh-ranked ICC (4-0) with 16 points. Kuban was the fourth different leading scorer for the Cougars in as many games.

"You never know who is going to help us out," ICC coach Tony Wysinger said.

Dorel Sutherland added 11 points and a game-high eight rebounds for the victors.

ICC led 34-28 at halftime.

The Cougars forced 38 turnovers, 19 of those steals.

"We pressured them about 75 percent of the game," Wysinger said. " There were times where we needed to hurry up the game."

Matt Sturdivant led IVCC (2-2) with 21 points and 17 rebounds.
