ICC freshman is player of week

A freshman first baseman from Limestone, Swearingen went 21-for-33 with six doubles, one triple and five home runs as the Cougars won six of eight games.
Swearingen also scored 16 runs and had five stolen bases.
Entering this week, Swearingen was hitting .607 with runners in scoring position.
- ICC's home doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday against Indian Hills was cancelled.
Because of an anticipated thunderstorm, the games were called off before Indian Hills departed for its 31/2-hour drive from Ottumwa, Iowa.
