GM-ASEP History

The General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM-ASEP) began Fall of 2001. The program started small and has now become well recognized in the industry with dealerships participating from throughout Illinois. General Motors continues to provide ICC with vehicles, equipment, and training supplies to keep our program up-to-date with today's technology.

Roger Donovan, Program Coordinator, has GM Master Technician Certification in Brakes, Engine Repair, Steering and Suspension, Automatic Transmissions, Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Manual Transmissions, and Electrical Systems.

David Morgenstern, Instructor, has GM Master Technician Certification in Brakes, Engine Repair, Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical Systems, and Engine Performance

Our instructors are encouraged to attend regular seminars and training sessions as well.
