Culinary Arts Certificate Program Description

The Culinary Arts Certificate is designed for individuals interested in or already employed within the various realms of the foodservice industry. The courses provide a comprehensive overview of the skills necessary to facilitate employment at entry-level positions. In addition to the laboratory experience, students will all have the opportunity to gain knowledge in the areas of foodservice management, safety, and sanitation.

Students must complete basic skills placement testing prior to admission to this program.

Illinois Central College's Culinary Arts Program is a partner with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Upon completion of the certificate the student will earn a Certificate of Completion.
