GM-ASEP Program Description
The General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM-ASEP) is
a NATEF Certified, two-year cooperative work training program preparing students to be
automotive service technicians for General Motors dealerships.
During this two-year program, students will alternate between eight weeks
of training at ICC and eight weeks of paid internship at their sponsoring
GM dealerships. They will study General Motors service topics such as
electronics, computerized systems, and mechanical systems. All aspects
of vehicle repair are also included in this program.
