Electronics Servicing Program Description
The Electronics Servicing certificate program prepares individuals for
entry-level employment in the servicing functions of consumer electronics,
primarily radio and television. The prospective student to this curriculum
should have a marked interest in electronic servicing. The curriculum
is very practical and utilizes the basic radio and television receiver
as a vehicle of learning.
This sequence of eight courses and an elective is scheduled so the student
may complete the program in six semesters. The first couse in the sequence
is scheduled for the fall semester. The elective credit may be drawn from
a wide range of offerings having a bearing on electronics, and should
be selected with the help of an advisor.
No previous knowledge of electricity or electronics is necessary to enroll
in this program.
