Computer-Aided Manufacturing Program Description

This certificate program is designed to provide entry level skills in Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), as well as providing for upgrading technical skills for those currently in manufacturing. Emphasis is placed on manufacturing processes, numerical control systems and robotics systems, with other selected courses designed to give the student a balanced CAM curriculum. Many of the courses are directly transferable into the Manufacturing Technology Associate Degree program. Math skills equivalent to two years of high school algebra and one year of high school geometry are required for admission to the program.
