Business Partnerships

The Automotive Technology program requires an 8-week paid internship for students seeking the degree. This internship is the last eight weeks of their sophomore year. Area businesses see this as an excellent opportunity to try a student on for size without the commitment of permanent employment. However, we have found that many employers offer the student a permanent position at the end of their 8-week internship (but this is NOT guaranteed).

Many local businesses also donate equipment they no longer need to ICC to help with the development and training of future automotive technicians.
